Our thoughts opinions and ramblings on the VoIP and GSM markets

The Heat is On

Wow it has certainly been hot lately – too hot to work !!!

We now have the Nokia E60 working on the MKC 7000 CS, we had to remove all the registration details – if you want to try it then the settings you need are as follows – this example is extension 219 on our internal 7000 system 192.168.100.91

Public user name : sip:219@192.168.100.91

Proxy server : sip:192.168.100.91

Registrar server sip:192.168.100.91

This gives pretty basic SIP useage as you can make or receive a call and currently you have to set your handset for outgoing via SIP OR GSM as this is not automatic. I guess this may improve as Nokia produce new releases.

We are now running the 7000 CS SP1 version in house and it works well and we have also received some improvents for the group ringing that gives better flexibility.

We are hoping to be able to release the new VoIP gateways pretty soon as these have proved very reliable during the trials.

It is Holiday time now as the children are now on holiday from school – so enjoy and we will resume the blog after the holiday period…………..so check back then
